RemoteDevelopers.com is a platform that connects software developers with employers. Developers can create profiles showcasing their skills and GitHub activity, while employers can search for and contact developers.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
One person may not maintain multiple accounts

Developer Accounts

Developer accounts are free
You grant us permission to access your public GitHub data
You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile information

Employer Accounts

You must represent a legitimate business entity
You agree to pay applicable fees for job postings and hiring
You will use the Service only for legitimate hiring purposes

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without permission
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
Use automated means to access the Service without our permission
Circumvent any access or security measures

5. Fees and Payment

Job Posting Fees

Job postings are currently free during our launch period. After the launch period ends, employers will be charged $50 per month for active job postings.

Placement Fees

Placement fees are waived during the launch period. Standard placement fees will apply after the launch period ends.

Refunds

Job posting fees are non-refundable once the job has been published. Placement fees are non-refundable.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by RemoteDevelopers.com and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including GitHub and Stripe. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of user profiles or skill verifications
We are not responsible for the conduct of users on or off the platform
We do not guarantee that you will find employment or candidates
We are not responsible for any hiring decisions made by employers

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REMOTEDEVELOPERS.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RemoteDevelopers.com and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
